KATHMANDU, Nov 11: A moving passenger bus (Na 6 kha 6183) collided with a kindergarten school van (Ba 14 cha 4649) at Sitapaila, Kathmandu on early Saturday.
According to Traffic Police, the passenger bus had a brake failure. It skidded to hit van’s tail portion, sending the van into a canal pass. No one was injured at the accident.
KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The Nepal Army has started to transport election papers, ballots, voters’ education materials, stamp pad among others in Khotang, Dolpa and other remote areas. Election Officer, Dinesh Khatri said that preparatory works for upcoming Nov 26 election was at final stage at Khotang. The district is home to 125,183 voters. KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Yunnan International Exposition Affairs Bureau and Nepal-China Executives Council have organized the China-South Asia Expo in Kathmandu from November 2 to November 5. This is the first time the expo is being held outside China. The exhibition showcasing goods from China and South Asian countries used to be organized in Kunming of China only.
