Wandering around Lakeside in Pokhara, I was fascinated by the paragliders flying just above the beautiful Fewa Lake. I gazed at them dancing and swinging in the air and thought that I did not have courage to do it. APPDSA was formed under initiation of a forum of 300 young leaders of Asia and the Pacific and other participants at the United Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok on 28 October 2014, including representatives of governments and the private sectors, for lively debates and discussion on many challenges in clusters concerning the environment, health service, disaster, culture of peace and youth entrepreneurship.

With an aim to connect diverse artists and observers, Taragoan Museum is all set to open Contemporary Art Gallery on Friday. With a view to permanently display around 50 works of about 30 contemporary and upcoming Nepali artists, the gallery aims at promoting Nepali art and making the country a hub for art lovers.
Actor Najir Husen has made a comeback in theater after a three-year-long gap. The last time he performed was in ‘Vaitaranee Café’ in 2015 which was directed and written by Dayahang Rai.
Theater enthusiasts were waiting for his return, and their patience has finally been rewarded with Husen coming back in the scene, with ‘The Ugly Duckling.’ Directed and conceptualized by Husen himself, the play is staged at Mandala Theater, Anamnagar, where it is on the show since May 11.
