KATHMANDU, May 7: Although commercial banks of Nepal have started offering easy loans to their clients due to sufficient amounts of loanable funds, they are unable to raise the demand for loans from the borrowers.

KATHMANDU, May 6: Nepal Telecom has started 5G test in Pokhara and Birgunj after Kathmandu. The government initially planned to conduct tests in four cities including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Birganj and Biratnagar. However, due to American pressure on the use of Chinese technology in 5G, Nepal Telecom has not been able to speed up the testing process.
