Postal Highway achieves completion target of 70 percent

KATHMANDU, May 6: The progress in construction of the Postal Highway, one of the national pride projects, has reached 70 percent. Out of 1,857 km of the highway, blacktopping of 957 km has been completed so far.

Nepal Telecom starts 5G trial in Pokhara and Birgunj

KATHMANDU, May 6: Nepal Telecom has started 5G test in Pokhara and Birgunj after Kathmandu. The government initially planned to conduct tests in four cities including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Birganj and Biratnagar. However, due to American pressure on the use of Chinese technology in 5G, Nepal Telecom has not been able to speed up the testing process.
