KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Promoters of private education in the country has invested Rs 500 billion in their institutions. The investment is for physical infrastructure and human resources. The annual total income of private institutions (fees received from students) has reached Rs 200 billion.
KATHMANDU, Jan 14: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has initiated a survey to identify households in all the 31 earthquake-affected districts that don't have family members of working age and therefore face difficulties with the reconstruction of their houses. NRA aims to provide additional support to such households for house reconstruction.

DOTI, Jan 13: Fuel traders in the district have claimed that the tankers of Nepal Oil Corporation have been delivering less than the said amount of petroleum. The tankers have been supplying them four percent less petroleum in average, the traders have claimed.
ROLPA, Jan 13: The current academic year will end soon but students are yet to be taught more than half the course in most schools of Rolpa district. However, this is not the first time that such a situation has arisen. Every year, students in Rolpa are compelled to appear in the final exams without completing their course, showing the sorry state of the education system here.
