Over 150 houses in Bajura at risk of dry landslide

MARTADI, August 16: A dry landslide has continued for days at Swamikartik Rural Municipality-1 in the east northern belt in Bajura district, putting over 150 houses at risk of being washed away. The landslip at the lower part of Runi village and near Chhuddari village has caused risks of the Karnali river being blocked, said local residents.

KATHMANDU, August 15: The  Gongabu Bus Park has installed a new computerized system for ticket booking for people traveling to various parts of Nepal. A joint agreement was reached between Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Lhotse Multipurpose Pvt Ltd to provide the services by the buspark using computer technology. The Gongabu bus station has been operational since 1999.
