EPL Day 1: Five Talking Points

The Everest Premier League’s second season is underway promising to be more exciting and entertaining than previous one. The opening match rather turned out to be a lame affair but there were enough talking points to indicate what is in store for coming days.

Jaykishan Kolsawala anchored Lalitpur Patriots to the first win of the Everest Premier League 2017. Kolsawala scored 44 runs off 48 deliveries and remained not out to guide Patriots to a comfortable first win of the tournament by seven wickets.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Lalitpur Patriots produced a bowling exhibition led by Indian pace bowler Sudesh Bhati as Kathmandu Kings XI (KKXI) was bundled out for 89 runs in the 19th over. The team won by seven wickets. Jaykishan Kolsawala scored 42 runs to guide the team for victory in 16.4 overs.

KATHMANDU, Dec 18: The first inning of Lalitpur Patriots vs Kathmandu Kings XI in the Everest Premier League at TU Cricket Ground today. Kings XI were wrapped of 89 in 18.3 overs by Lalitpur Patriots. Amit Shrestha scored the highest run, 27 out of 28 balls. See photos here.
