KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Nepal’s football governing body All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Nepal have signed a partnership agreement for the promotion and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nepal through football, one of the world’s most popular sports. The SDGs, also known as the Global Goals -- a set of universal agreements to end poverty in all its dimensions -- aim to craft an equal, just and secure world by 2030.

DAV to host futsal tournament

KATHMANDU, Sept 4: DAV College is set to host an inter-college six-a-side futsal tournament on September 6-7 in Kathmandu. About 25 colleges from Kathmandu Valley are expected to participate in the event.
