NEW YORK, May 15: A 1917 painting by Amedeo Modigliani of a reclining nude woman that was once considered obscene in Paris sold for over $157 million at an auction in Manhattan on Monday.

A mysterious “globster” has washed ashore in the Philippines, prompting speculation that it is the carcass of a creature “from the deepest parts of the ocean”.
