MUMBAI, Dec 5: After a series of Hollywood celebrities, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the latest victim of a horrible death hoax that has gone viral. The actress started trending soon after a ghastly news of her committing suicide started circulating on whats app on Sunday evening.

The news alleged that the actress had committed suicide due to marital discord. The report alleged that owing to her steamy scenes in the recently released Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the Bachchans were ill-treating her and hence the actress had decided to take such a drastic step.

Asihwarya is though not the first Bollywood celebrity to fall victim of such news. Her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan has in the past been declared dead in a similar manner. News of Dev Anand, Shashi Kapoor and Kadar Khan’s death have also created a flurry on social media.

In Hollywood also, several actors have been victim of such hoax including the recent Rowan Atkinson’s death hoax news that created ripples on social media.
