Four including driver killed in Bara road  mishap

RAUTAHAT, Dec 10: Four people including driver were killed in a bus accident at Adhabhar in Bara district on Saturday morning.

According to Surendrea Mainali, in-charge of Central Traffic Police Office, Pathlaiya, the accident took place when a bus, Na 6 Kha 6854, bound for Narayangadh from Birgunj collided head-on with a car, Ba 12 Cha 8290, coming from the opposite direction at Adhabhar along the East-West Highway at 7:30 am . 

Four among the seven on board the car were killed while the rest were seriouly injured , police said.

Deceased have been identified as car driver Dipak Thapa Magar, 23, of Mangaltar, Khotang, Kumari Thapa, 25, her 11-year-old son Dilip Magar and Mahendra Ale, 28, police said. 

Car driver Dipak died on the spot while others breathed their last while undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital, Hetauda. The other three people have been injured in the accident. They are Kamal Ale of Sunsari, his wife Yashoda Ale, their daughter Ahana Ale. They are undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital.

Police have taken the bus driver and the bus under control.

The bus was heading toward Narayangadh carrying wedding guests from Birgunj.
