Besisahar-Chame road to remain closed for over two weeks

LAMJUNG, Jan 24: A sole road linking Manang, the trans-Himalaya district to Lamjung, is to be closed for over two weeks for maintenance works. 

Vehicular movement on the Taghring section along the Besisahar-Chame route is to be halted for the next two weeks to carry out the repair and upgrading works beginning from February 7 from Kapre Cliff to Shreechaur and Talandanda. 

The Road Division Office, Damauli has already dispatched a letter to the District Administration Offices in Lamjung and Manang, asking for stopping vehicular traffic along the route in this period from February 7 to 21. 

Lamjung's Chief District Office Mohan GC said the office in its response to the circular for closing the vehicular movement on the route, is issuing a public notice soon.RSS
