Coolpad smart-phones hit Nepali market

KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Smart-phones of Coolpad brand have hit the Nepali market. Jaima Intercontinental Private Limited, the sole authorized distributor and marketeer of the product, launched the product in Nepal.

In an exclusive event in Kathmandu, CEO of Coolpad Global James Du and Chairman of Jaima, Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, jointly launched Coolpad brand in Nepal and unveiled the flagship smart-phone model Cool 1.

Coolpad Cool 1 is the first phone in Nepal with 13 + 13 MP dual rear camera setup. The biggest highlight of Cool 1 is that it sports a pair of 13-megapixel sensors with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. One sensor handles color, while the other takes care of depth, detail, and brightness. Rounding off the optics, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens.

At the same event, Coolpad Nepal launched three additional smartphone models- Note 3S, Mega 3 and Mega 2.5D.

Coolpad Global CEO James Du said that the brand always seeks to introduce the best of the technologies in the market and claimed that Coolpad has been satisfying customers around the globe. "We feel honored in getting the opportunity of serving the people from the country of Himalayas," said James Du.

“It’s a great thing for Jaima to be getting in partnership with one of the most technologically innovative and advanced global brands," said Jaima's chairman Shrestha.

Country Manager of Coolpad Nepal, Sean stated that Coolpad phones are designed to provide the consumers with the best experience and a great value and claimed the flagship phone Cool 1 is a great camera phone.
