ANNFSU wins FSU elections at 17 colleges

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), the sister wing of the CPN-UML, has won the Free Students Union (FSU) elections at 17 different colleges across the nation so far.

The ANNFSU has won the FSU elections at Patan Multiple Campus, Baitadi. 

According to a press release issued by the ANNFSU, Mahesh Prasad Bhatta has been elected as the FSU president at the college.

Similarly, Ram Bahadur Khatri has been elected as the FSU President at Salyan Multiple Campus, Salyan.

Nabin Basyal has been elected as President  at Mandyabya Multiple Campus, Palpa, Ishwar Singh  at Shanti Campus, Bajhang, Puja Karki at Khapardev Campus, Bajhang, Bimala Abasthi at Seti Campus, Bajhang, Rupak Giri at Adarsha Multiple Campus, Dhading and Santosh Dahal has been elected as FSU president at Hanumanteshwar Campus, Dolakha.

Similarly, Santoshi Phuyal has been  elected as FSU president at Khotang Campus, Khotang, Roshan Pokharel at Simpani Campus, Khotang, Sunita Tamang at Kanpur Campus, Kavre, Nabin Acharya at Uddha-Buddha Campus, Palpa, Hari Devkota at Amardip Campus, Surkhet, Rabin Sambahamphe Limbu at Siddhadevi Campus, Panchthar, Sushil Giri at Kathmandu Kuleshwar Campus, Kathmandu, Kamala Pant at Krishna Snatak Lali Campus, Darchula, while Ramesh Pachera has been elected as president at Khaptad Campus, Doti.

The election results were declared at those colleges where the number of students was insignificant while those with a big number of students the chances of elections are almost unlikely, said Sudip Sarma, spokesperson and publicity department head of the FNNFSU.  

The FSU elections are underway at various colleges across the nation.
