KATHMANDU, March 23: Kosh Raj Koirala, political bureau head of Republica, has been bereaved of his father on Monday. His father Khilnath Koirala, 69, died after suffering a heart attack near his home at Gahate, Kuhibhir VDC of Okhaldhunga district.

He was cremated at Silaurighat on the bank of Dudhkoshi River on Tuesday after family members reached home for funeral rites. He is survived by his 96-year-old mother, wife, five sons, two daughters and grandchildren.
