Held at Singha Durbar, the meeting primarily focused on how to carry out rescue works during natural disasters.

In an hour-long meeting, the Chinese Defense Minister Chang pledged to provide trainings to the Nepali Army on disaster management and peace-keeping missions of the United Nations.

“Defense Minister Chang pledged to provide logistics and equipments required during natural disasters and development constructions,” Defense Minister Khand quoted his Chinese counterpart as saying.

However, the date to begin the military exercise is to be fixed.

Earlier, Chinese Minister Chang held a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Baluwatar.
