Meeting between Chang and CoAS concludes

KATHMANDU, March 24: The meeting between Chinese Defense Minister General Chang Wanquan and Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) of the  Nepal Army held today at Nepal Army(NA) headquarters has concluded. The meeting revolved around the issues of  bilateral cooperation and mutual relation.

Chang also  paid a tribute to monuments of Nepal’s past brave rulers with  a flower and a small squad of army personnel offered him a guard of honor.

“Nepal Army believes that such a high level visit from the neighboring country  will deepen the relation between the Armies of the two countries”, the press release issued by the Directorate of Public Relations of Nepal Army upon the conclusion of the meeting.

Chang is scheduled to meet with Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and President Bidhaydevi Bhandari at 3 pm and 4 pm respectively.
