One child injured after being hit by car

DARCHULA, March 26: One female child sustained injuries to her right leg earlier today at Darchula when she was hit by the car(Ba 16 Cha 9151) bound for Dhangadi from Darchula.

The victim has been identified as Manisha Bohara, 12, a daughter of Padam Bohara, a local of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8.

After the incident, the injured child was rushed to District Hospital of Darchula district for first aid treatment.

The car belongs to former chairman of Dhangadi Chamber of Commerce Dinesh Bhandari.

The police took the driver, the car and the owner of the car under control until the car owner promised to pay money for the treatment of the injured child.
