CPN (Maoist Center) approves the agreement signed with Federal Alliance

KATHMANDU, April 23: The CPN (Maoist Center) has approved the agreement signed between the government and agitating Federal alliance including the Madhesh based parties.

A central committee meeting of the party held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar today urged to take initiative to hold local-level elections in a free and fearless manner by approving the agreement signed between the government and the United Democratic Madhesi Front on Saturday. 

Saying the agreement signed between the government and UDMF has created an environment of election and it has become a milestone for constitution implementation, the meeting also urged the major political parties to fulfil their political responsibilities. 

The CPN (Maoist Center) thanked all for their crucial role for taking initiatives to forge consensus, said Party Spokesperson, Pampha Bhsal. 

On the occasion, Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal briefed the meeting about the discussion held with the Morcha and other leaders as well as the basis of consensus. 

Saying the government became successful to bring the agitating side to a consensus after his long attempt and initiative, Prime Minister Dahal expressed the view that now no one could disrupt the elections. He also directed the leaders to involve in election, saying creating an environment of election for all participating parties was the happiest moment of the country. 

The meeting also decided to take necessary initiative to implement the agreement in letter and spirit. RSS
