KATHMANDU, April 27: Two people were electrocuted to death at Dhungeadda in Chandragiri Municipality 15 on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Narjung Shahi, 20, and Narayan Raut, of Nagarpur-3, Mugu district, who were currently staying at Dhungeadda.
They got an electric shock after the pole being lifted by the machine to test soil came into contact with the electric wire at Dhungeadda.
Seriously injured Shahi and Raut, who were referred to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, after preliminary treatment at Sahid Memorial Hospital, Kalanki, died on the way to hospital.
The other injured is undergoing treatment at Sahid Memorial Hospital.
The police are investigating the case.
