NC Rasuwa office vandalized

RASUWA, May 2: The district party office of the ruling Nepali Congress has been vandalized by some disgruntled party cadres relating to nomination of the candidacy in upcoming local poll.  

Disgruntled women cadres of the party vandalized the office and threw stones at the vehicle of local leader Lama Karpu Tamang on Monday.  The furniture and documents in the office were damaged by the disgruntled cadres.

According to district police inspector Dhruba Silwal, police have arrested five women cadres’ involved in this connection. Police have suspected that the incident may have occurred as Santemba Tamang was not given ticket for Parbatikunda Rural Municipality. RSS
