Dahal and Oli discuss holding second-phase election before May 29

KATHMANDU, May 4: The meeting of the heavy weights of the two parties-CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) were held today at the office of House Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar in the capital city to discuss the current political situation.

At the meeting that started at 11 am, CPN -UML Chief and CPN(Maoist Center) Chief and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal discussed the three issues- impeachment motion against Chief Justice recently registered at legislature secretariat , constitution amendment bill recently tabled at parliament and the legal difficulties involved in presenting the annual budget before the second phase of the local polls slated for June 14.

The meeting was also attended by Maoist Center leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha and UML leader Subash Nembang.

At the meeting, the leaders discussed the possibility of holding the local polls before the annual budget is presented, according to Shrestha
