Prechya Bajracharya famously known as Pari is a YouTube sensation who started her YouTube channel in 2012 to share her creativity. She currently has over 15,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel which not only features cover songs but also vlogs. Pari rose to fame in 2013 when she took part in the Raw Barz Rap Battle. This multi-talented YouTube sensation was able to secure a role in movie Jatra which released in 2016, which not only brought her to limelight but also established her as a talented contender in both the music and film industry of Nepal. 
Republica caught up with Prechya to talk about five things people might not know about her.

An introvert
Prechya says she enjoys spending time alone and hates crowded places. She says although people think she is an extrovert and bubbly, she likes to spend time with herself and is very reserved.

She even adds, “Growing up, I was a shy kid and didn’t prefer to talk much until I started a YouTube channel.” She hates initiating small talk and being around people who gossip.
 
A vegetarian
Prechya turned into a vegetarian in 2015 . She says she decided to become a vegetarian after watching a viral video of a kid holding a goat , crying and pleading not to kill it. She says the video made her emotional and she even cried. She has always been compassionate toward animals. Prechya even plans to eventually commit to a vegan lifestyle in the future.

Hates shopping
Prechya says she hates shopping for herself. She says,” My foot is Euro size 40 and it’s difficult to find cute shoes that fit me in Nepal. I also have broad shoulders so all the clothes that look cute on mannequins never seem to fit me and that is the reason I hate shopping for myself.”

An infomaniac
Prechya says she likes to stay updated with latest information and calls herself ‘infomaniac’. She says, “Whenever something new fascinates me, I look it up and spend a lot of time online reading articles, pinning pins on pinterest and going through videos and documentaries about it on YouTube.” She further adds, ” I become obsessed about things that fascinate me to the point where I turn into ‘infomaniac’. Anything from life hacks to documentaries excite me.”

Nearsighted
Prechya is nearsighted . She says people usually see her wearing different colored lenses but very few know that she has to wear prescription glasses or lenses with corrective power of -5 on both sides. She adds, “ Everything is Gaussian blur without glasses or lenses.”
