Mesmerizing art exhibition

KATHMANDU: E-Arts Nepal organized a painting exhibition titled Himalayan Art Camp that kicked off at Nepal Art Council, Babar Mahal on Friday. Along with Nepalese artist the exhibition features Asian artists from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, China and India.

While walking inside the exhibition, you will be mesmerized by all the realistic and abstract paintings. You will get to see these alluring works of arts. Most of the paintings were based on the mountains, landscapes influenced by Pokhara among others. 

Moreover, the electronic music in the background helped to create the desired atmosphere in the exhibition. Out of all the paintings, a realistic painting, bunch of banana is interesting.  On the first glimpse, you would not believe that it is actually a painting. In the painting, the artist has managed to give life to the painting with the brilliant mix of the colors. The realistic touch is captivating. Even the slightest details were not missed in the painting making it exceedingly pleasing to the eye.

In the exhibition there is another painting where the artist has used vibrant yet soothing mix of colors. In the painting the artist has used mix shade of light and dark green and has portrayed Lord Shiva. The painting is enchanting as it presented Lord Shiva wearing a white mask. Meanwhile, depicting how lives have been affected by pollution. The painting gives out the satirical vibe to the viewers and in the same way tries to make people realize the consequences of pollution. It’s intense and hysterical at the same time The exhibition showcasing the variation under one roof will last for three days till June 11.
