Clashes erupts between RJPN and FSFN cadres in Sarlahi (Update)

SARLAHI, June 11: The situation in the district has become tense as the cadres of Rastriya Janata Party- Nepal (RJPN) and Upendra Yadav-led Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSPN) have clashed with each other on Sunday.

The clash erupted following the demonstration organized by the RJPN to obstruct the mass meet of FSPN.

 The cadres showed black flag to FSFN chair Yadav, who was on his way to address the mass-meet in the area. The protestors chanted slogan against him and the program.  

To obstruct the movement for the program, the RJPN cadres and leaders cut down the roadside trees and have placed on the road near by the police beat in Madhuban, Goth-5 of the district.

The local administration said that it has deployed around 200 police to maintain the law and order in the area. The area is nearby Indian border.
