One dead, one hurt in accident

RAMPUR, June 27: A person was killed and one other injured in a bus accident occurred at Baughapokharathok of Tansen Municipality-12 in Palpa. The accident happened at late night yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Padam Kumar Shrestha, 17 of Gorkha. Injured Hem Kumari Kalfe, 26, of Balitaksar, Gulmi is being treated at the Palpa-based Mission Hospital, the District Police Office, Palpa said.

A passenger bus (Lu 1 Kha 6116) en route to Burtibang of Butwal met with an accident, killing the one on the spot. Police have impounded the bus and driver and further investigations were on. RSS
