KATHMANDU, July 21: A meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party held at the building of Legislature-Parliament in New Baneswor this morning has decided to make the no-trust motion registered at the parlaiemnt against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli a success.

The meeting has also drawn a conclusion that the no-confidence motion gets top priority in the agenda of the parliament according to the parliamentary practice and tradition.

Expressing disagreement on the government's view that the budget corollary bills should be endorsed first before discussion on no-trust motion, the meeting came to a point that the budget bills should be discussed after the passage of no-trust motion, said NC central committee member Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat.

He also said that it was irresponsible act of the Prime Minister to take Cabinet decisions on important issues by not resigning from the post when his government was already reduced to minority.

The Congress parliamentary party meeting also took it an exception to the ruling parties warning to disrupt House proceedings if the finance subsidiary bills are not treated first.

The meeting has also drawn the government's attention towards addressing all the demands of fasting Dr Govinda KC except the political ones. RSS
