KATHMANDU,July21: NIC ASIA Bank has announced business tie up with Shikhar Insurance for promotion of a new non-life insurance product.

According to a statement issued by the bank, Laxman Risal, CEO of NIC ASIA Bank and Dip Prakash Pandey, CEO of Shikhar Insurance signed a MoU on Thursday on behalf of their respective institutions.

The agreement has been made with an aim to provide “Health Insurance & Secure Mind” product for existing and new customers of the bank, it reads. "Helath Insurance product covers individual and family health insurance, while  Secure Mind supports to secure the loan of the bank," it added.

NIC Asia has also published its unaudited financial statement for the fourth quarter of 2015/16, reporting a record 57 percent increment in profit.
