TANAHUN, August 20: Who doesn't want to stay fit? Everyone today is concerned about their body. Skinny people want to get some muscle and the ones already on the healthy side are looking for ways to lose weight.

The Boost Gym', located on the first floor of the Nepali Congress Party Office, Ward 3, Byas Municipality, Tanahun has been alluring several youths in Damauli. The gym is the third branch after Abukhaireni and Dumre.

Ritesh Sanaam, a resident of Byas-4, said he experienced drastic changes in his body after some nine months since he joined the gym. "Joining the gym has not only brought physical changes in me but has also changed the way I think," he said. He also feels that his health has improved after joining the gym.

A trainer at the gym house, Santosh Shrestha mentioned that they would do eight shifts each day for 200-250 people. The gym has a total of 300 members of age group of 16-50. "We also have some guardians who joined the gym after being influenced by their kids," he added.

Santosh added that the gym was also working as a rehabilitation center for some former drug abusers. About 25 females have joined the gym for special aerobics and Zumba classes. The gym usually has about 30-50 people at all times.
