UDAYAPUR, Aug 21: In the last seven days, District Police Office (DPO), Udayapur has arrested three dozen youths on the charge of drug abuse. Of late, the number of drug users and peddlers has been growing in the district, according to the DPO. 

After arresting 35 youths along with various kinds of drugs, the DPO has begun investigating them. According to Police Inspector Devi Prasad Phago, those people were arrested from Ghaighat on different dates.

Police confiscated 500 grams of hashish, four packs of lupijasic, three packs of fenaragon and four packs of Diajepam from the abusers. Similarly, two stolen motorcycles were also confiscated. All the arrested have been put under custody for further investigation.
