POKHARA, September 4: The Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries will be constructing a new dome at the exhibition centre in Pokhara – Lekhnath Metropolitan City – 9. 

The PCCI will spend around Rs 150 million to build the dome. The number of domes at the exhibition centre will now reach two with the latest construction. 

PCCI Chairman, Bishwo Shanker Palikhe, said the decision to construct a new dome was made in view of the increasing number of events being held at the exhibition centre by various organizations, and to facilitate the organizers to hold any kind of programmes and trade events during the monsoon. 

Palikhe added that the PCCI has been holding annual trade fair in Pokhara and using the proceeds to equip the exhibition centre with more facilities. He shared further that Rs 3.2 million saved from the last year's fair will also be spent for constructing the dome.
