RAIN

RAIN

It’s strange that just when it’s midnight
I go out in the rain to rid the feelings of fright
I don’t fear what the night has to give
Because my loving rain is what I insist to believe.

I wish I could become the rain
And pour down on someone else’s face
And give the same feeling as it gave
Like when it poured right through my face.

I know that I’ll not live twice
So, I seek the truth in the falling rain while I’m still alive
I am a fool to not realize it often
That when it rains it makes my heart broken.

Gentle rain, smiles at me
As if I’m a locked door finding its key
Along the road where I’m all by myself
And there is no one but to guide own self.

Finally, I feel the rain going inside of me
Sucking out all the pain that’s left of me
And I can see the truth right in the midnight rain
Pattering rhythmically on a sleepless night’s trail.
