KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Rupak Memorial Foundation (RMF) is set to organize a bicycle ride on Saturday.

Organizing a press meet in the capital on Thursday, General Secretary of RMG Krishma Sharma said that the ride is being held in tribute to the victims of Pakistan International Airlines crash on September 28, 1992, which had killed all 167 people on-board, including Rupak Raj Sharma, the first Nepali to get referee license from FIFA.

“This cycle ride is being organized with an objective to create public awareness about air safety in Nepal,” Sharma added: “Around 150 people will participate in the ride.’’  The ride will start from RMF building in Satdobato to PIA Memorial Park at Lele in Lalitpur, covering 25 kilometers altogether.
