Lahan, Siraha, Oct 29: Rajkapur Yadav, the Nepali Congress leader who was killed in Trishuli bus plunge, was cremated at Golbazaar Municipality-8 in his home district Siraha today morning. 

Thirty one people were killed when a Kathmandu-bound passenger bus plunged into the Trishuli river at Bange in Ghattabesi in Gajuri rural municipality-5 in Dhading on Saturday morning. Yadav's body was transported to Siraha last night, and cremated according as per Hindu rituals, said Siraha district President of the NC Ram Chandra Yadav. 

Ram Chandra paid tributes to Yadav and draped NC flag over his body. Yadav, the NC general convention representative, was proposed to contest the State Assemblies elections from Siraha constituency-3 (Kha) from the NC quota. He was en-route to Kathmandu for election purpose when the accident occurred. He is survived by two daughters and a wife. 
The bus (Na 6 Kha 1467) heading to Kathmandu from Rajbiraj skidded off the road and plunged into the river from the turning point. RSS
