Kishor Kuikel is a 23-year-old teacher from Fulbaari, Kavrepalanchowk. He is currently living in Gokarna with his family. Kishor teaches social work at Brilliant College, Kathmandu.
When Kishor was offered a teaching job, he took it without a second thought because teaching had always been his passion. “We have very few young teachers in our country. Kishor and his father are both breadwinners of the family.
Kishor says he contributes 50 percent of his monthly income to run the family. He realized his passion for teaching when he was in Grade X and started giving tuition to junior students. “I never really got the opportunity to enjoy my childhood because I had to look after my brother.
When we were young, my mom used to stay in the village while I had to look after my father as well as brother in Kathmandu.”
