GULMI, Nov 16: One person died while 6 others sustained severe injuries in a jeep (Lu 1 Ja, 1521) accident that occurred at Resunga municipality-4, Arkhale in Gulmi district on Wednesday night.

The accident took place while the ill-fated jeep was returning after the cremation ceremony and fell some 100 meters down the road. The deceased has been identified as Rudra Bahadur Dhega, 55 of Kapilvastu, Badhganga-8.

Likewise, other 11 have injured said District Police Office, Gulmi. Out of 11 injured, 6 have severe injuries.

The severely injured are identified as Santosh Pandey, Dhruba Marasini, Mohan Bikram Thapa, Dev Raj Pandey and Dev Bahadur Bashyal of Resunga municipality-4 and driver Aatma Ram Rana of Dhurkot rural municipality.

The severely injured are ongoing for treatment in Lumbini Medical College, Palpa. Similarly other 4 are receiving treatment in District hospital, Tamghas said Police Inspector Dactor Prasad Chaudhary.
