KATHMANDU, Nov 23: By Thursday afternoon (1 PM), three bombs have been found in Nuwakot, Dhading and Panchthar. 

NUWAKOT: The Shreenath Battalion of Nepal Army has diffused a bomb placed at District Election Commission (EC) Office, Nuwakot. Staff at the EC had informed the police after seeing suspicious object while distributing necessary election materials.  Likewise, a pressure cooker bomb exploded at Fikuri of Kispang rural municipality at 12:45 AM, the Fikuri Area Police Post said. Bombs were also found at Sikre on Wednesday while one exploded at Kakani last Friday.

DHADING, Nov 23: Nepal Army’s bomb disposal squad diffused a pressure cooker bomb from Thakre rural municipality-1 of Dhading. Locals had informed the police after a suspicious object, wrapped inside a plastic bag was found on the road side. The District Police Office, Dhading has deployed heavy security presence on highway.

PANCHTHAR: Nepal Army’s Bhairabi Battalion of Fidim shared that a bomb had been found at Imring. The spot is close to Saptami Bazar and borders Illam and Panchthar. The Nepal Army’s temporary base at Tumewa rural mucipality, three hours away from the bomb location, is on its way to diffuse the bomb.

DOLAKHA: Ranabhim Battalion of Nepal Army has defused an improvised explosive device planted targeting the mass gathering of the Nepali Congress in Dolakha district today. The bomb was kept at the gate of ward office of the Bhimeshwor municipality-6 at the district headquarter. Nepali Congress member Bal Krishna Khand is scheduled to address the mass gathering to be orgainised there.
