PALPA, Dec 12: CPN-UML has secured 30, 114 votes in Palpa-1 in the parliamentary elections under the proportional representation (PR) category. Similarly, Nepali Congress has obtained 22, 945 votes while CPN (Maoist Center) has got 1,949 votes.

Mangol National Organization has secured 922, Bibeksheel Sajha got 495, Rastriya Janamorcha secured 217 while Rastriya Janamukti Party got 123 votes.

Of the total 59,407 votes, 57, 751 were cast in the elections, of which 1, 656 votes were invalid. Similarly, of the total votes 59, 407, 56, 459 votes were cast in the December 7 provincial elections of which 2948 votes were invalid.

UML got 29, 484 votes, NC got 22,275 votes, while Maoist Center obtained 1,918 votes. Similarly, Mangol National Organization got 939 votes, Bibeksheel Shaja Party secured 352, RJM got 249 while Rastriya Janamukti Party 143 votes.
