On this very day, in 1976, Koirala and other prominent leaders returned to the country standing on ‘National Unity and Reconciliation Policy’.  Prof Dr Yagya Adhikari says that the reconciliation policy conceptualized by BP Koirala is still relevant for the current politics of the country. Dr Adhikari states that the essence of the policy is to be flexible enough to sort out internal predicament of the country.
