KAPILVASTU, Jan 3: Two women have disappeared from Jitpur in Kapilvastu district since over two weeks, their family members said. The missing women have been identified as Gita Gurung, 22, of Baksispur and Radha Nepali Pariyar of Bhalabad. 

Gita left her house along with her two and a half years old son on December 10, saying she would go to her parent's house, but never returned, said her sister-in-law Dhana Gurung. Her parents however said by the phone that she left after spending three days with them, she said. 

"She (daughter) told me by the phone that she reached her husband's house," said Gita's mother. Likewise, Pariyar had gone missing since December 20. Before leaving her house, she had left a note reading 'Please do not search for me.', said her father-in-law Chhanda Bahadur Pariyar. 

Families of both the missing women have reported to the Area Police Office about their disappearance. A search has been launched for the missing women, said Inspector Raju Karki. RSS
