Natural lakes and ponds in Tinjure Milke Jaljale area are drying up due to human encroachment, development activities and lack of conservation.  In the past two decades, various lakes and ponds have dried and available water resources are depleting rapidly.

Dr Govinda KC, who has been staging his fourteenth hunger strike demanding reforms in the country’s medical education sector, ended his fast on Saturday. KC is breaking his fast-unto-death after he signed a five point agreement with the government on Friday evening. 

Entrepreneurship intensive program a must for youths

In order to retain youths within the country, the government needs to step up entrepreneurship intensive programs, Dr. Shashank Koirala, general secretary of Nepali Congress said. Industrialist Binod Chaudhary said the challenge of unemployment was widening in Nepal due to lack of quality human resources in the country. Annually around 400,000 Nepali youths come to the market but they lack the technical know-how to best utilize their potential.
