CHITWAN, Jan 13: The under construction road section of Narayanghat-Mugling will be opened for 24 hours for next four days from Saturday.

The district traffic office issued a notice on Saturday targeting the festival of Maghe Sankranti.

“The road section will be opened round the clock for four days, from January 13 to January 16”, the statement reads. The vehicular movement has been halted between 10 pm and 4 am in the road section from January 2.

During the festival of Maghe Sankranti, thousands of pilgrims throng to the famous Devghat from the different part of the country and from India as well. Devotees gather at the holy bank of the junction of Trisuli and Kali Gandaki rivers to take a holy bath during the festival.
