Biplav Maoists halt food supplies, Humla, Mugu under food shortage

For the past 10 days, the Biplav led Maoist faction have seized daily food supplies and 300 mules in Humla and Mugu.  The halt in food supply has created shortage in the districts. 

WB provides 440 million USD concessional loan

The World Bank has agreed to provide US$ 440 million concessional loan assistance to implement three projects; Enhanced Vocational Education and Training Project II (EVENT-II), Livestock Sector Innovation Project (LSIP) and Earthquake Housing Reconstruction Project (EHRP).

Election Commission (EC) published voters name list of National Assembly (NA) election today. There are 1506 voters for the NA election. Of the 59 NA members, provincial assembly members and local level chairpersons and their deputies will vote to elect 56 NA members. The President will nominate remaining three, including one woman, on the recommendation of government
