Tarun Dal gifts constitution to Prez for reference

Nepal Tarun Dal, a sister organization of Nepali Congress, has handed a copy of the Constitution to President Bidya Devi Bhandari for constitutional reference, in a symbolic protest against unconstitutional move taken by Oli government to overturn Deuba government's decision to recommend National Assembly members.  The Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD) has handed over the constitution to Prahlad Pudasaini, from Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas, on Wednesday, informed Bhupendra Jung Shahi, General Secretary of NTD.

Dr KC confesses to his DoB error

Dr Govinda KC has confessed that his date of birth in citizenship and SLC certificate are different. Organizing a press meet at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, following the fact revealed about his date of birth in different documents, Dr KC admitted that it happened due to the technical fault. There are four months different in his citizenship and SLC document. In citizenship his date of birth is on October 8, 1956, and in his SLC document, it is February 6, 1957.

NRA launches PMIS

National Reconstruction Authority has developed a system where engineers deputed in reconstruction site can fill up progress details through a mobile app. The NRA developed the Project Monitoring Information System (PMIS) with the financial aid of Asian Development Bank and launched it today. The engineers deployed in reconstruction task of wards of 32 earthquake-affected districts can keep the record in this system. 

Federal parliamentarians to be sworn in on March 4

The swearing-in ceremony of federal parliamentarians has been scheduled for March 4, the Secretariat Federal Parliament said. The following day, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called the first session of the federal parliamentarians at 4 PM in International Conference Center, New Baneshwar.

Cash reward announced for national cricketer KC

Minister for Industry, Forest, Tourism, Supplies and Environment of Province 4, Ram Sharan Basnet, has announced a cash reward of Rs 100,000 for Karan KC, the member in the National Cricket Team which recently returned home after being qualified for playing in the 2018 ICC World Cup Qualifier. The reward was announced on behalf of the Province government.
