Man attacks mother to death, sister severely injured

A woman injured in an attack by her son succumbed on Thursday night in Siraha, the police said. Ram, 28, of Laxmipur Patari-4 had allegedly attacked his mother Gyan Devi Das, 45, and 16-year-old sister Sunita Kumari with an iron rod over a family dispute, said the local people.

 Australia's deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce resigned on Friday just hours after accusations of sexual harassment against him were made public.  Joyce announced he was stepping down as deputy PM of Australia. He has held the post since February 2016, a by-product of leading the National Party of Australia which is part of the governing Liberal National Party (LNP) coalition.
