RAMPUR, Aug 13: A branch office of the Rastriya Banijya Bank has been re-established at Harthok in Palpa district as it was displaced during a decade-long Maoist insurgency.

The Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr Chiranjivi Nepal today inaugurated the branch office and urged the farmers to be benefited from the loan as the financial institutions were providing the loan on five per cent interest rate to them as per the monetary policy.

He further urged the youth to involve in productive sector rather going abroad for cheap labor.

With the re-establishment of the branch office, locals at Bhairavsthan, Khasyauli, Deurali, Bandipokhara, Palung, Mainadi among other VDCs of Palpa district and some locals of Gulmi and Arghakhanchi districts will be benefited as well. RSS
