KATHMANDU, March 19: Yeti Airlines-Tara Air, in partnership with Khumbu-Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), Himalaya Club and United National Development Program (UNDP), has formally launched 'Everest Clean-Up Campaign'.

The Airlines will now airlift 100 tons of non-biodegradable waste in the year 2018 from Everest region to be recycled in Kathmandu. As a continuation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Yeti Airlines has started the campaign at the Everest region, according to a press statement issued by the airline on Sunday. The airline flew around 5,000 kilograms of waste to Kathmandu on Saturday.
