RUPENDEHI Mar 20: The government of Province 5 has formed the Provincial Planning Commission (PPC). 

Today's provincial cabinet meeting also appointed Director of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr Prakash Kumar Shrestha as PPC's Vice President in line with the Province Planning Commission Formation and Work Operation Directives, 2074 issued today itself, said the government's Spokesperson Baija Nath Chaudhary. 

Also, the meeting appointed Sher Bahadur Khatri as press advisor to Chief Minister of the province. A permanent resident of Gulmi Khatri is involved in journalism for the past two decades. 

On the occasion, Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel directed line ministers to submit plans for general and capital expenditures for the next fiscal year to the Office of Council of Ministers of Province within 10 days in the context that budget worth Rs 1.2 billion allocated for the province should be released within April 13.
