4.2 M aftershock hits Ramidanda of Jajarkot

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: An aftershock was reported in Jajarkot at 3:40PM on Saturday.

According to Seismologist Mukund Bhattarai of the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the aftershock measured 4.2 on the Richter Scale and had Ramidanda as its epicenter.

This aftershock followed a magnitude 6.4 earthquake that occurred last night at 11:47 PM in Barekot Rural Municipality-1, Ramidanda of Jajarkot.

The earthquake has resulted in property damage and human causalties in Jajarkot and Rukum West.
