SAPTARI, Aug 25: Police arrested a man with a cache of marijuana and a pistol from Malhanawa VDC in the district on Wednesday.

A joint team from Armed Police Force Dantakali Battalion and the District Police Office raided the house of Chhotilal Bhandari and confiscated 115 kilograms marijuana, a pistol and two live bullets. The team had acted on a tip off. 

The team also seized three mobile phones and took Bhandari into custody for necessary investigation and action as per the law, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dan Babadur Karki said. RSS
