We all know how close ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are. Even though they broke up on a bitter note, after a few initial heartburns, the duo became very cordial with each other. In fact, they came close to each other again during their last release – Tamasha. So much so that we heard reports of Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh having problems with their closeness! However, looks like things have changed as today Deepika Padukone has chosen to support Kareena Kapoor Khan over Ranbir Kapoor!

Isn’t shocking it? But when you hear the reason, you might not be that surprised. You all know that the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016and how Ranbir Kapoor will be walking for designer and friend Kunal Rawal. We had even mentioned how Kareena will be walking for Sabyasachi at the Finale tonight. And even though, Deepika is friends with both Kunal and Sabyasachi, it seems that she will attend only the latter’s show!

Deepika is more close to Sabyasachi, but having worked with Kunal on Tamasha, everyone expected her to be present for his show as well. But sadly, she will give Kunal and Ranbir’s show a miss! In a 2011 interview with this film glossy, Ranbir had broken his silence on how he’s to be blamed for messing up his relationship with Deepika, despite being together for two years. He said, “Yes, I have cheated, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realise it now when you grow up and you value it more why be in a relationship, why be committed to someone when you cannot be committed? I’ve realised that now. That’s why I don’t want to jump into a relationship with anybody because … unless you have a special bond, a special equation with somebody, somebody who you can be committed to, somebody who can trust you, who you can respect, there’s no point.” That was a confession that went viral rapidly because he owned up to it. So things were pretty tense between the two and despite doing two films together after a breakup, not everything is right it seems. It might be that she is avoiding some controversy or Ranbir, but it could be that she must be genuinely busy too.

In the meanwhile, she will be attending Sabyasachi and Kareena’s Finale show. Kalki Koechlin and a few other celebs will also join her.
